Incorporation & IP/Regulatory Support
Entity setup, incorporation strategy, IP protection, and the foundational legal building blocks that keep you defensible.
We show up early, often before incorporation, and stay close. We help you through the hardest, least glamorous parts of building — the finance model, the first hire, the term sheet that isn't quite right yet.
Zenara Capital is an early-stage venture firm led by operators who've built and scaled companies in fintech, data, and infrastructure — in markets where building is hard by design. We invest with that experience, not around it.
Our thesis is simple: back Black founders, female founders — the ones building with less capital, higher friction, and more resilience than the market gives them credit for — anywhere in the world.
Who we back
Entity setup, incorporation strategy, IP protection, and the foundational legal building blocks that keep you defensible.
First hires, leadership recruiting, compensation design, and a trusted network of advisors and operators.
Customer introductions, marketing channel partnerships, multi-regional expansion, and go-to-market refinement.
Narrative and positioning, investor introductions, data room prep, term sheet guidance, and finance and revenue analysis.
Selected teams from the current portfolio — pre-seed and seed, globally.
Democratizing access to institutional trading infrastructure.
An AI agent that handles life tasks — emails, bills, deliveries, documents, appointments, and more.
Prediction markets built for real-world events and communities.
The intelligent operating system for modern tertiary institutions.
No. We don't draw a hard line between angel, pre-seed, and seed — if you're building something real, we want to meet you, even before you've incorporated.
We look for teams that are at least 50% underrepresented founders — i.e. Black or female founders. It's a floor, not a ceiling.
We're sector-agnostic with a bias toward AI and tech-enabled products, and we invest globally — no market is off limits.
We'll have an initial conversation, followed by diligence calls if it's a fit. If we move forward, you'll meet the rest of the team before we make a final decision.
A referral can speed things up, but it's not required. We review every pitch that comes in cold.
